Privacy Policy
For Texla Group, every individual’s privacy is important and we are therefore prepared to protect it through secure and safe handling of personal data. On May 25, 2018, the EU’s new Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) began to apply and the purpose of the Regulation is to protect personal integrity with regard to processing and storage of personal data.
Processing of personal data
Texla Group collects only the personal information that is necessary and relevant for the respective purposes. Legal grounds for processing personal data may be that processing is necessary for the performance of an agreement between Texla Group and the affected party, consent of the affected party, to fulfill legal obligation or interest balances regarding any business opportunities with the affected party. Examples of personal information that Texla Group can collect is the first and last name, phone number and e-mail address.
Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties without the consent of the affected party. Exceptions to this apply when required for legal processes, compliance with laws or in cases where the authority requests access to the data.
Storage and deletion of personal data
Texla Group will store personal data as long as it is considerd necessary to meet the purposes intended for the collection, or for the time period as agreed. Exceptions to this may occur when there are legal requirements for treatment. In cases where consent is given, the personal data is stored until the interested party wishes to be deleted.
With the involvement of the GDPR, the rights of individuals have been strengthened. The individual has:
- Always be entitled to know what personal information Texla Group is handling.
- Always have the right to have their personal information updated or corrected.
- Always be entitled to request that Texla Group erase personal data.
Right to be forgotten
An individual may at any time request that his/her personal data be deleted if:
- The purpose of the personal data is no longer applicable.
- The treatment is based solely on consent and the individual recalls this.
- Treatment refers to marketing that the individual opposes.
- The individual opposes the processing of personal data that takes place after the balance of interest and there are no legitimate reasons that weigh heavier on the part of Texla Group than for the individual.
- The personal data processing was incorrect.
- Deletion is required to fulfill a legal obligation.
When a deletion is completed, all personal data collected by Texla Group will be deleted, both electronically and in paper form. Some personal information may be saved as the law requires it.
Security
Texla Group limits the availability of personal data to coworkers who need the information in their profession. Sensitive personal data such as ethnicity, religion, political opinions, or sexual orientation are never collected and it is important for Texla Group that each employee understands the importance of privacy in terms of personal data. Therefore, all coworkers who process personal data are informed about this and Texla Group is constantly working to maintain the security and integrity of each individual.
Updates
Texla Group aims to constantly develop and update the work on privacy issues. Texla Group reserves the right to update and amend the terms of this Privacy Policy and will inform interested parties to the extent required. As it is required by law that Texla Group informs about changes, this will be done in a clear way.
