This year Texla Group has decided to sponsor a foundation called Perus Vänner. Peru is one of the world’s worst affected countries by covid-19. The situation is by no means under control. From the beginning, it was a big city phenomenon. Today, the infection is also hitting the countryside hard. Even poor residents have found it even more difficult to survive.
Accha Alta is a poor mountain village at 3,700 m altitude that has been hit hard. Therefore we have decided to make targeted support to the residents there and in nearby mountain villages including:
- Food packages for affected families
- Oximeters
- Equipment for treatment with oxygen
- Medicine packages for affected persons
- Face masks
- Access to telephone counseling by a doctor, psychologist and nurse
